When a user sends an e-mail it is saved by Mailtonews and passed on to your smtp-server. Incoming mails are fetched from your pop3-server by Mailtonews. They are saved and sorted to the correct folders according to the filter adjustments. The users having access to these folders are informed by an internal e-mail. Using a link in this e-mail the users can directly call up the e-mail or open the respective folder through a futher link.

In this folder you can send a directly reply to an e-mail. The answer is saved under the respective e-mail in an indented manner. That way you immediately can see if and by whom this mail was answered. Comments about the process can be saved in the folder as well.

When the receiver sends an answer to an e-mail the answer is assigned to this received e-mail and presented in the tree shape. This way you can quickly retrieve the complete course of the process.
